The wash house was a public bath where anyone could go and bath for a fee . on the left as you go into the bourne from the sea front. house now on site .

do you mean the rows of terrace houses overlooking what was *Tin Town* ?, there was a footpath with steps down from Halton to the power station and up to Tin Town. I lived in no.3 fellows road. Tin house, I was born there in 1946.

I lived in *Tin Town* from 1946 to 1953 aprox and I cant remember any big ponds in the area.
