There is no chance you will find any part of Hastings as bad as Hackney. You can check out for the best places to live in Hastings on this forum in recent post. The best secondary school in Hastings for boys imho is William Parker, this is close to Alexandra park. The best secondary school for girls...

Did you see the end house at the top of Wilmington Road? it has the date that it was built, and Weissenberg Terrace painted or engraved on it.

The name of the cinema was called the Elite, it was bombed during the war and rebuilt, but burnt down on the opening night.
I was told that it was on the the left hand side of Warrior Square, but not sure the exact location.
