Re: Hastings areas to live
I would also love to buy in Hastings-St Leonards, but I have been renting first to be able to check peacefully the area. And also to be able to go and see the different options for buying - auctions, etc. In St Leonards on the sea front, there are different types of flats. They are nearly all of the...

Re: Does anyone know where to tank LPG?
Thanks so much bumbar and for the addresses and for the explanation. Hopefully, they will accept to lend me their British adaptator, since my car is Italian/French. In Germany, pumping stations lend their adaptator but in UK it seems that for insurance reasons it is not always the case. Krine
<b...

Re: Wireless internet coverage on trains to London
Yes, thanks from me too.
Indeed, I did try the O2 dongle, but then decided to stop the experience because I was not really happy. I would definitely next go for a good Internet coverage on my mobile phone.

Does anyone know where to tank LPG?
Hi there,
I have brought from France my hybrid car (LPG+95) and have still no clue where to tank LPG in the area. Any idea?
And just to make sure, auto gas is the same as LPG, isn't it ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: London commute - does anyone drive?
Hi, I do drive and sometimes, I do have to commute to London. I never tried it with the car, but I will be willing to try it in September since I will be commuting everyday (normally) the 3rd week of September. My car has got 3 seats. So if some of you want to give it go, why not. By the way, first ...

I want to find a share (flat or house) with a view over the
My rent lease ends beginning of August. I do enjoy the views over the sea from my present flat in St Leonards. But I need to downsize because the rent is too high. But I would like to keep seeing the sea. Anyone with tips or proposing a viewing can send me an email: <a href="mailto:nyounae...

Re: Coffee morning/social/craft group - is anyone interested
Hello Peggy, I do like the idea. I am not really a craft person, but I like the idea to meet other people. I am moving to St Leonards next week, actually on Saturday, and yes, I would definitely like to chat with others. It is a marvellous idea. I do not know how big the group now is, really.
<b...

Re: Multilingual jobs
What about setting then a company ? I did that in Germany, and it was fun and at the same time a lot of work. If there is no job, then may be we should create our own. So I have a solid background as a translator and interpreter. I would need to associate (?) myself with someone good with laws and f...

Re: Multilingual jobs
Thank you Movingsouth. I have tried agencies in London, but in vain. It seems that companies want people with work experience in the UK, which is not my case, except as a teacher of French.
