Hello Lynne, I too am seeking info regarding a convalescent home in the 1950's. Mine was a convent run by St Vincent de Paul nuns, but it was up on the hill at St.Leonards, and overlooking the sea. Any help?

was it run by nuns, the order of St. Vincent de Paul (those with the huge white headgear)? if so I went there too, please contact me, Lesley

John, I too am seeking memories/pictures of a childrens home in that area, possibly the same one, but mine was formerley a convent as we were looked after by nuns. I was there in about 1954/55. Any info at all will be gratedully received. Regs, Lesley
