Re: Items to go to the dump
Thanks for your suggestions Richard. However, the bin men have already refused to take the printer when I put it in my regular bin collection, so I have no faith they would take the vacuum cleaner either. It was removed from my bin bag and left on my step with a note saying they don't take it. The b...

Re: Items to go to the dump
After finding a tape measure finally! It's about 3 inches round at the middle point but 7inches round at the bottom. And it's about six foot tall but some of this is one branch thick at the top - the bit you wedge a Christmas fairy on! I don't have anything to chop it with though, would you?
<br...

Re: Items to go to the dump
That's incredibly kind, thank you. However, I have an official type appointment that I can't cancel tomorrow. If you could do over the weekend, I'd be so grateful, and would of course give you petrol money. I'm in old town, with good access, but the tree is about five foot and still dropping needles...

Items to go to the dump
I have three small things that I need taking to the local council tip. Not only do I not know where this is (yeah, I know I could find out) but I don't have any transport. The council bulk waste won't collect as one of the items is a very dead Christmas tree, and they won't take garden waste. Anyone...

Christmas Trees
Hi all I've recently moved to Old Town, and with Christmas coming, I wondered where sells real trees in this lovely town? No car, so I'd be carrying it which is why I mentioned whereabouts I live, but delivery would be even better. And what about afterwards - are there specific tree recycling points...

New resident needs local info
Hi I've just moved to Hastings (Old Town area) and I would appreciate some recommendations. I need a doctor, a dentist and dog friendly vet. I'd also like to hear of any good Curry houses, pizza places and dog friendly pubs and cafes. All suggestions gratefully received. Thank you!
