I know my mum would be interesting in getting together for a coffee and a chat! She's in her 50's and moved her a year ago. She's very sociable but really doesn't know where to start making friends for herself.

As theres been a few people expessing a interest in having another meeting what do people think about arranging one soon - maybe the first weekend in Oct??

HARC (tel. 722164) will come and collect furniture etc or there is a shop on high street in the old town that does house clearance, I cant remember whats its called but its near the bottom on the right (as you go up) and sells stripped pine furniture.
