I have details for Douglas Harris b 1861 also of his family. He was a Baker and Confectioner and lived in Caves Road and later in Bohemia Road.

if h.b.c. got off there backsides and cleaned up the town. we would entice more people to come and live in this town hence property would increase in value.

Unfortunately anyone who has a car will have to stay away from central Hastings due to the parking restrictions. Nice one Hastings Council!!

Helena, if you walk the streets late at night without feeling a bit scared then you have a false expectation of safety.

Any area has bad people about just waiting for someone to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't let it happen to you, no matter how 'safe' you feel.
