I can fully sypathise with Dorothy and no,there is really no excuse for speeding in town but I do feel that much of this comes from the frustration caused by the bottle neck created by the council when they decided to make the top end of Priory road virtually one way.

Not for the first time,I have been penalized as a disabled driver by the over zealous parking attendents of Hastings,please let this be a warning to any disabled folk who intend to move here or even visit hastings.Beware! THEY DO NOT LIKE DISABLE PEOPLE!!!!!!

Yes Bob,George street is now a pedestrian mall,I believe that Bikers is gone but Butlers Imporium is still there as is the Pump House and The Anchor which was one of my favourite pubs in the sixties,many an evening singing folk songs to anyone who could strum a guitar,happy days.
