Having been ' born and bred ' in Hastings ,many moons ago i might add ! i moved away in 1972 ,im not sorry ,BUT ,me and the whole family return every year ,without fail for our annual holiday,we wouldn't go anywhere else !! even the ones who weren't born there love it !! its what you make it ,i thin...

i bought my first suit in there !! just above the knee as it was for a wedding in 1966 !! not allowed a mini-skirt for a wedding !

I remember the Guinness clock too ! it was ' parked ' right by the 'small baths ' end of White Rock my Dad took me to see it on my birthday Carnival day July 6th 1956 !!! what a wondeful sight it was !! i can remember it being by White rock Gardens ,but i DO remember the Model village there ,where "...

Any new on The dolphin ? is it still shut ? 2 years running now ,whilst we were on holidays in Hastings ,i really missed it this year as Maggies doesn't do ' take-away '

I agree with you Peter ! what a lovely spot ,St Mary's terrace is ,we always go walking over the West Hill and down into Milward road and the Crescent when we come on holidays ,( I used to live in Milward Crescent ) we were looking for holiday accomadation for next year and one of those lovely cotta...
