Re: Carlisle Pub (Pelham Arms), Denmark Arms and Public Shel
Thank you for the photo Shell. Apologies for the late reply. This is due to a combination of illness and a house move. Re: Where can I buy speaker cable in Hastings?
Try the Trading Post in Castle Street or Winchesters in Ore Village. Other than that you can get a 100 m reel at BandQ for about GBP25.

And for the sake of comparison, here's a modern view from roughly the same place. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8532/8556510089_9d10895ddd_b.jpg Nellie by Carlisle Reject 2 , on Flickr [img[/img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8532/8556510089_9d10895ddd_b.jpg[/img[/img][/url[/img] [url=http://www.flic...

Re: THE LORD NELSON AND THE CARLISLE
Just a curiosity. The photo shows the Nelson on the right during the infamous Bourne Clearances before the balcony was added. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8240/8557585738_61a9433ac8_b.jpg The Bourne Clearance. by Carlisle Reject 2 , on Flickr [img[/img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8240/8557585738_...

How about a 'Then and Now' section in the photo gallery comparing old photos of the town with new ones taken from the same place?

Re: Marine Court 1930s
And here's two more press clippings. Unfortunately clippings are exactly what they are and I have no idea which publication they came from.

Re: Marine Court 1930s
I know this might be a bit late, but here's an image taken from a 1937 edition of the Hastings and St Leonards Observer.
