I was born at 13 Gensing Road when the shop belonged to Backshalls the shoe repairer. No 14 was a grocer's shop while no.12 was Miltons, the greengrocer. Just found this website! Is Bert Gurr still alive? He was my husband's best man at our wedding. My husband ,Budge Burgess, rode for Langham Lions way back then.
