When i visited Hastings and St.Leonards a few years ago i visited the main museum up near White Rock Gardens and enquired about the Guiness Clock. Strange how nobody remembers the Guiness Clock.
I can remember it vividly as a child in 1957/58, and since then i have lived in Cornwall, but still have fond memories of St.Leonards and Hastings

Where exactly on the prom was the Lido?
All i can remember as a child in 1957/58 was looking down through distorted glass which i believe were the swimming baths, just past Hastings Pier in the direction of The Stade.
