What an interesting site; and a revelation! I believe the Fairlight radar station was one of the first ever built in this country, presumably just before WW2, and was bombed during the Battle of Britain. I always understood that it was sited where the "Heli pad" (picnic area) is now, just off Fairli...

Would it be possible to have a forum for the disabled so that they can recommend shops, cafes and other services that are wheelchair friendly. We've always had great food and service at Pam's even though we are both in electric power chairs. Well recommended.
