I attended Barton's Kindergaten from about 1953 till I went onto a Prep School on the Ridge somehwere (I forget its name at the moment). I remember we had to walk some where for lunch (probably The Fosters - thank you Barb F), There we had to lie down to digest our food for 15 minutes and listen to ...

Thanks to Beryl Small for her excellent photos, It took me back. I spent many a day in Gannymede. In the 1950's it was a favorite spot for nannies to commune whilst their charges played within what was one of the few enclosed areas in those days. Is Stan Deboo still with us? I last saw him in Battle...

Thanks Richard, for the explanation of the origin of the Pilot Field naming. I found your answer when searching the net for the information when I found John Gale's identical question to my own. I was also looking for the historical backgroung of the Bo Peep area naming. Any information? <br><br><br>
