Re: Brexit

Ten years from now, I wonder how all of this will be viewed? Will it be with relief and joy or regret and angst? Personally, I anticipate the former and hope I live to see it.

Re: Anniversary

I have used Legacy Family Tree for years. It is not an aesthetically pleasing application ("utilitarian" I think is the word), but it does the job well and has far more functionality than I'll ever use. Everything is stored within the app (photos, documents etc.) and there are endless char...

So, theoretically, you could have millions of ancestors, but the number of actual individuals would be much...

Re: "Twenty Twenty"

Yes, 2000 being a milestone could well be the explanation, and yet it wasn't a milestone since it was the final year of the old millennium and not the first year of the new millennium!

Well, I'm here to tell you that I do, and so do many of my family and acquaintances (I have no friends – I wonder why?). The year 1900 was without exception (as far ...

Re: Yet Another Political Post!

Could be - I thought that perhaps he has a keyboard there to provide musical accompaniment to the really boring speeches. A kind of Commons organ loft.

Yet Another Political Post!

Not what you were expecting maybe?

Does anyone know what function this man serves in the House of Commons? Not a very good quality image - I copied it from a video clip.
