Re: Favourite Adverts

Re: Amazon Prime Video

It's very difficult to buy anything from Amazon without inadvertently signing up to Prime. For instance, they offer free delivery and you think, "OK that's fine" and go ahead, but then find that you have joined Prime. It's happened to me a couple of times. You are right - extracting yourse...

Re: Anniversary

I have used Legacy Family Tree for years. It is not an aesthetically pleasing application ("utilitarian" I think is the word), but it does the job well and has far more functionality than I'll ever use. Everything is stored within the app (photos, documents etc.) and there are endless char...

Re: Anniversary

One explanation of the genealogical paradox is that if it were possible to trace all ancestors for perhaps a thousand years past, many of them would be duplicated in multiple lines of descent. So, theoretically, you could have millions of ancestors, but the number of actual individuals would be much...

Re: Anniversary

Going off topic a litle, I have often thought that if you could trace your ancestors back far enough, at some point, the number of them would equal the world's population at that time, so you would be descended from all of them. There has to be flaw in that logic though.
