Fly carriage drivers

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this but I was wondering if anyone had any Info on fly carriage driving or even better some photos from about 1880-1920 as my great grandfather and his family were in this business in St Leonards mainly and Hastings at this time

Owens dad was born in Kent but his grandfather lived in salehurst I think. In the 1871 census the family were living in st Mary Magdalene but in 1881 Owen went back to St Leonard's

Spice family

I am looking for any members of the Spice family that are left residing in the Hastings and St Leonard's areas. My great grandfather Owen Spice was born in St Leonard's and his family were carriage or fly drivers. He left Hastings in about 1910

Thank you for the info so far. The only other thing I know is that his family were all in the same business and they moved about through Hastings and St Leonard's
