Re: Water tower or Folly in St. Helens, Hastings?
Hi,
Interesting to hear from a fellow postcard collector. I have thousands of postcards, all of them are local to Hastings and the surrounding villages. There's no building like that in Hastings. Tidworth is in Berkshire,. Maybe there's a St. Helens in that area. Good luck in your quest.
Jim.

Re: Gas Works Staff
Lovely photos. Photo 2 people are wearing their Sunday best, and there's children, so perhaps a works outing or maybe a family photo. If only we could read the sign over the door.

Re: Trying to connect wireless headphones to a PC
Well, bluetooth is my only option as my laptop has no audio out ports. I havent seen a bluetooth set that is also wired? But I now get that's different than your ptoblem. Surely your base unit must be designed to plug into your PC's earphone jack socket?

Re: Trying to connect wireless headphones to a PC
You say you plugged them in on a cable. I've yet to see headphones on sale that are both wired and wireless. But if such a thing exists I'd be keen to know about it.

Re: NHS/GP/Chemist in crisis
Hmm, yes, my cousin was telling me about Roebuck surgery. She's now going to go to Guestling but I think that practise is actually managed by either Roebuck or Harold Road? I'm hoping Guestling will accept us, as it's close to where we will be living, and is getting good patient feedback on the NHS ...
