Re: Stop the mass immigration into our town. And country.
If the Germans are happy to take half a million immigrants a year ad infinitum then why shouldn't they. I think they must be barmy and will live to regret it, but if they don't care about mosques on every strasse corner, amplified calls to prayer 5 times a day at a squillion dB, resentment from thos...

Re: I'm coming!
Thanks everyone for the replies. I've already been looking at the listings here on the site and will definitely make use of this excellent resource. Looks like I'll move to White Rock in early September now so roof and fireplace/chimney checks are top of the list. And if anyone can recommend a real...

Re: The Worst of Hastings
Rant Part Deux Coming back down the East Hill steps very early in the morning of the day before yesterday, an incident occurred which exemplifies my 'case': on nearly every flight of steps was a deposit, or secondary signs of one on the edge of some of the steps, where others had stepped in some and...

Re: Calais Immigrants
But there is, you can vote to leave the EU. Would that there was a party to vote for which was willing to take us out. But apart from UKIP the entire establishment, politicians and elitists, are hell-bent on keeping us in, hence the austerity - our subscriptions to Le Grand Projet must be paid on t...

Yes, call the Plod and you'll find that they 'take this kind of thing extremely seriously' (that's their right-on Mission Statement ) then do bugger all about it. I don't know why we've got them!

I am a little concerned about posting under my wife's sign-in name BUT all this waffle drives me MAD...... The Earth warms up and the Earth cools down(albeit over a very long period) it is a natural cycle... There IS a chance that man has an effect but I think we are talking of a thimbleful in a ve...

Re: Calais Immigrants
If Cameron wants to renegotiate our membership of the EU then he needs to get cast-iron pledges to set an EU system up and running to process the immigrants correctly, or else we can expect to be invaded year on year thanks to the inability of member countries to tackle the situation. Currently the...

Re: Hastings and dogs of bygone days
Plus ça change. It's no exaggeration for me to say that almost everyone I see in the great outdoors has at least one dog. I like dogs but don't understand this obsession with them.
