Did this take place? When I searched it in Google - I got something about crowd funding for it but couldn't find anything on any forums about it - or the lights that were prize wining...what happened was it successful - is no-one blogging anymore in St Leonards?

Get me a ticket! The solar powered boat was actually built for a lake in Switzerland but then the Chichester Nature reserve people bought it for use in the harbour...I'm sure I've missed bits of that story out...but that's the gist of it.

I went on a solar powered boat trip round the harbour at Chichester - and the best thing was - no noise from the engine and no smell of diesel - that would be fab

Just visited Worthing pier and call me old fashioned but a cafe/ performance space with nearly a 360 degree view over the sea seems like the way to go - can't understand why the best bit of the pier - the end over the sea - doesn't seem to be designed to maximise the seaview experience - sigh. sea front tram

I read an article from 2013 in The Observer- I know I need a life -suggesting that a tram along the seafront had been suggested which sounded fantastic - an eco- style one....but couldn't find anything more recent - is it happening to tie-in with pier completion??
