King Family
Does anyone know where Providence Cottage, Bentinck Place was in Hastings? My grandfather (James King, a policeman) and his family lived there, showing on the 1891 census. Thanks.

I moved to Hastings a year ago and, although certain areas are rough, others are very safe. We moved because our son was mugged 4 times in SW London and he says that even the toughest down here are pussycats compared to London! The pace of life is a lot slower than London, and if you can accept that...
