Re: Moving to Harrow Lane
Clarendon Close is at the bottom of Harrow Lane. At certain times of the day there is traffic congestion with cars trying to turn into Sedlescombe Road North. Things might be getting much worse soon as this wonderful council seem to want to build a lot of houses up on the Ashdown House site and also...

Re: Creativity you do like
instead of a person who spent five minutes at art school and then offered an "unmade bed" to a trendy London exhibition. That would be Tracy Emin CBE RA worth now over £8 million so some say. For me the Mona Lisa is a bit overrated, I don't really like the background and I prefer some of ...

Re: Eating Out
Went to the Pigs Palace at White Rock on the sea front last night about 5pm with 2 others. Lots of space, we were the only ones there. There was agreement that the food we ate was better than what we had had the previous week at Wetherspoons. It used to be called Pig in Paradise before it became Pig...

Re: Dogs Barking !
I edited the title of this post because I wanted to bring up the subject of dogs barking. Now the weather is warmer and we can have the windows open I've started hearing the sound of a dog barking in the early hours of the morning and nobody seems to be there to calm the dog or stop it's continuous ...

Re: Jazz
Yes I agree that some of the events are expensive but you could make an argument that to go to London, parking is expensive and you have to know the best place to park your car without paying too much per hour + about 3 hours to travel up there & return.Don't forget the £15 congestion charge as ...

Re: Can Women always do an equal job?
Seems like the (mainly) female staff working at Asda have won the first round in their battle for equal pay. A Supreme Court judgment stating that Asda store workers can compare their jobs to staff in depots will be a boost for a great number of other retail workers.
