thank you so much for your posts david.im so dissapointed that i cant view your attachment yet for some reason.i have always wanted to see a picture of the duke of cornwall.i have heard a lot of history of the wenhams from my aunt tricia.and was pleased to see charlotte and her son in a library book...

hi my relatives ran the duke of cornwall too.around 1895 or a bit later i will put the date next time when i check.she was called charlotte wenham and ran it with her son.i think they were not there 4 long .its fascinating to see about the figgs having it too
