Re: New Food and Drink section?

Yes! A good idea, absolutely, I had not realised the lack of a specific food and drink section.
Geoff probably has lots of other activities to occupy himself with but if he gets round to doing what you suggest one day then that would be most helpful.

Re: New Food and Drink section?

'The Royal' near the station, St. Leonards, has been revamped and looks tempting.
What then are the best places to eat if one is meeting someone beautiful (or if Auntie Flo comes down to visit?). :)

Re: Quirk in Forum Index sub-headings?

seahermit, I see what you mean, I can confirm the link is broken or 'wired' incorrectly.
Perhaps a simple 'typo' mistake, not a bug.

Re: Tabloid press

The tabloid Press know that bad news sells because it is a departure from the smooth running of everyday life. A huge increase in cases of reported child sex abuse draws attention - why, and who to blame? Prince Andrew attracted to the company of a paedophile is a sensational item, does it matter? C...

Re: Quirk in Forum Index sub-headings?

There is a forum index, titled in the menu on the left as 'Forum Index'.
I don't know where you get the option:

"Hastings & St Leonards Forum
Free to use public forum for residents and visitors".

Using 'Forum Index' I have no issues.

Re: Tabloid press

cbe, no sidetrack, it's about the tabloid press, starting with child exploitation and the dangers of the tabloid reporting thereof... You want to keep the debate to Corbyn alone? I don't see what is to be gained. We have heard plenty already about how he has views that the tabloid press love to pres...

Re: Tabloid press

Corbyn tried to see both sides of the argument and then the Press selectively presents certain aspects of that 'agenda'. Is the partitioning of Ireland a long-term solution? Is the partitioning of Palestine a solution at all? The U.S. supported the IRA at one time, until they also brokered the 'Good...

Re: Tabloid press

Much of the criticism directed at Corbyn focuses on his relationship with Sinn Féin in the 1980s and 90s. During the 2017 general election campaign, Boris Johnson tweeted a photo of Corbyn with Martin McGuinness in 1995, deriding his claim to have never met the IRA: “You cannot trust this man!” By t...

Re: Tabloid press

Adults, including politicians need to be able to deal with insults and bias (Left and Right) in the everyday Press coverage. If sentiments turn into outright allegations, that overstep the mark, then Lawyers can be invoked. But does it really solve anything to seek legal redress at each and every op...

Re: Tabloid press

Is it a case of the Press deliberately publishing false stories (Fake News)? Did the publisher in this U.K. case not really believe they were publishing in the public interest after the exposure of Muslim CSE gangs in other tabloids? They got it wrong but was it deliberate or malicious? I don't know...
