Clearly computer technology has its place and will never go away.
Perhaps I should have said:
'when it solves nothing at all really in terms of artistic creative endeavor?'
Artistic creativity is really not much improved by computer technology but its dispersal may benefit greatly.

Re: Computer not booting up properly
seahermit,
Technology has its place, yet people wrote perfectly good works in the past without computers, are you becoming too fixated upon using modern technology when it solves nothing at all really?

If wired unplug the printer's USB cable from the PC.
Delete the software via control panel.
Reinstall the printer/scanner software.
Re-connect the USB cable.

Re: Harold Place – fit for a King?
The nearby public conveniences, removed a few years ago, were always a magnet for alcoholics and druggies. It seems like they are still clinging to what is left. Nearby above 'Oxfam' there is (or was) some sort of drug-rehab unit, which sort of explains part of the equation. I don't believe relaxati...

Re: Bohemia Road House Re-numbering
The typical form of numbering pattern would originally have been based from the centre of town outwards, with odd numbers on the left-hand side. The following extract gives some idea of the fun and games the council got up to in renaming and renumbering roads: http://wiki.historymap.info/1903_Roads_...

Re: Bohemia Road House Re-numbering
Hello Chris, It could be that the Terrace in question was renumbered (absorbed into) London Road? I note that there was also a Shornden Villas, Passage and Place, plus reservoir. Was Shornden Terrace the area between St. Matthew Church and the Clarence? In which case the terrace was to the east side...

Re: Computer not booting up properly
Hassle them. Just tell SKY you are leaving them, they will ask why, mention constant router issues and they will probably issue a new one rather than lose your custom. Also try asking for a discount on your contract and they may offer one. I tried that with Talk Talk and they looked into my account,...

Re: Bluetooth Issues
There seem to be a few TV's with Wifi or Wifi dongles can be added but it seems to be patchy transmission.
The manufacturers have not go together and developed a standard for the technology.
Latency, buffering and bandwidth seems to be issues.

Bluetooth Issues
I have to say that Bluetooth is a pain in the neck at times. It used to work for me and yet now it refuses to co-operate at all. I might as well just use a cable and be done with it. My computer supports Bluetooth but now fails to recognize my speaker which uses Bluetooth. I suspect the computer Blu...
