New PM

Not sure if anyone has already started a thread on this subject, if so please Mr Moderator I apologise. Did anyone waste their time watching the "hustings" on sunday or last night. What a complete farago (Farage!!!) the whole process was. We learnt absolutely nothing new from anybody. Why ...

Bohemia Road. What a mess!!!

On Tuesday I visited my sister in law , my first trip to Hastings for a couple of years. When back in Hastings I like to drive around my home area of St Leonards and in particular Bohemia Road/ Cornfield Terrace. Oh dear what a shock it was driving into Bohemia Road from Silverhill. I don't think th...

Re: EU Elections

[ We will find out tomorrow if this was an isolated incident, if it's not the brexit party will get a huge vote. I think we will end up leaving with no deal after these elections. We wont find out the result until after 10pm sunday. I too heard many comments today regarding Brexit Party and think no...

Re: EU Elections

As a single person household I always thought the Poll Tax was a great idea. With regard to demonstrations; The recent Extinct Rebellion mob caused chaos in London but they have achieved their objective of bringing Climate Change to the fore, much more than that soppy little Scandi-bird. It is now t...

Re: EU Elections

The only parties to have made any effort to get my vote have been Brexit and UKIP. Are the others complacent or just don't give a damn about me?

Re: EU Elections

This morning I actually got to meet my MEP on a walkabout in Wellingborough. He was in fact elected in 2015 as a UKIP MEP but has now switched to Brexit. What was interesting was the number of local councilors and others also present who have switched allegiances to the Brexit Party, not just Conser...

Re: Britex

Should we participate in the European Parliament Elections? My personal thoughts are that it should not even have come to this. We should have sorted everything by now and have left on 29th March. As much as I admire my local (Northants) MP's who have all voted Leave I do believe they have been too ...

Re: Primark

I went into the Hastings Primark this week soon after it opened. What an awful lot of rubbish. Nobody over 25 in there and the whole floor devoted to garish street fashions, hoodies, tee-shirts. track suit bottoms and so on. I did end up buying some cheap knickers for £4.50! When I got home, they w...

Re: St Helens Road Arson Attack?

I heard extremely loud and disturbing male voices screaming/shouting early this morning along St Helens Road, lower end and across into the Park at around 3 am today. I didn't bother greatly as it has happened before but this time it sounded excessively noisy, I was half-asleep anyway but perhaps I...

Re: Harassment still very prevalent

It gets worse. Visiting a friend in Eastbourne last week a male robin was so aggressive to a group of sparrows who were just trying to enjoy the seeds put out for them.
And don't get me going on those pesky squirrels, so greedy and destructive.

The RSPB Birdwatch was great fun though.
