Re: Old pictures of Warrior Square

Fine art and classic cars not so.

Re: Old pictures of Warrior Square
There are rules in place for restoring buildings of historic importance.
The rules can sometimes be relaxed if a greater good is realised.
Not the case for classic cars or fine arts/crafts.
In that case there are no rules.

Wildlife Cam
Does anyone know of a garden camera device that can transmit moving images to the computer monitor to observe creatures such as badgers and foxes?
I hear them but never manage to see them as they disappear by the time I get up.

Re: Harold Place – fit for a King?
There are already dozens of organisations offering help to the homeless and needy in Hastings/St. Leonards. A Baptist church at the corner of nearby Warrior square serves as a soup kitchen. I hate to say this but no matter how much help is offered to the needy and drug-dependent there will always be...

Re: At last - Wetherspoons
Wetherspoons Hastings is in a tight space, it has no ambience, just somewhere to eat and drink cheap stuff. Wetherspoons Bexhill is spacious and has a more relaxed feel to it. The staff seem to be switched on. I don't feel you should go into a pub where you have to worry about the landlord/managemen...

Re: Computer not booting up properly
'Poodling' about on a bicycle is not really about avoidance of complicated modern cars. A car is an expensive luxury unless you need one for work. I have all the benefits and convenience of technology from my desktop computer. Very useful to access a bank account and gas/electricity providers, order...

I think you need the right mind set-to cope with the vagaries of life in general, let alone technology.
I only have a desktop PC and very basic Nokia mobile (text and voice).
Life still goes on.
