Does this still exist? I was secretary of Hastings 18 Plus FC later to become Crypton Dynamos. I was also on the League committee dispensing "justice" to clubs that infringed the rules.
This would have been from circa 1967- 80.
As Crypton Dynamos we arranged charity matches at the Pilot Field against the Showbiz X1.

I’m also interested in the old Hastings Sunday League and wonder if any of the records survive from the 1969/1970s period. Some of the old Queen’s Head team are preparing a booklet on the teams exploits which started with a remarkable 17-0 home win against 18 Plus in the 1969 season!

I was a member of that 18 plus team that day and remember it well. I believe it was the first game of the season. In the return game, about the 3rd from last of the season, you only won 3-1and it was 1-1until very near the end. After losing to you we then lost 10-0,then 7-1but from then on had a good run and actually won the National Federation of 18Plus zGroups FA Cup Final!! Happy days but I guess sunday football is a thing of the past.

Hi I played for 18 Plus after being transferred from Vaccum Generators and played in the Charity game at Pilot Field,in which I believe Ed Steward played in Goal and had to be replaced with our manager at time, after possible breaking his ankle, also Leapy Lee of Little Arrows fame played.Mr Shepperton senior sponsored the game. The Team’s photo of day hung in the Board Room at Stamco for many years.
