Some martial arts clubs are listed on the Sports and Leisure Clubs section of this site. Try clicking "Local Contacts" from the navigation on the left and follow through from there. I wouldn't know which is good as it's really not my thing but some have websites you can check out.

Hope this helps

Geoff

We have a great Aikido club on Mondays and Tuesdays in Bexhill. I drive from Hastings so would be able to take you. Aikido is a non-aggresive reative martial arts and the best out there in my opinion - and I have studied a few!

Looking for someone to practice Martial Arts

Postby Pendekar » Mon May 31, 2010 9:53 am

Hi there, I live in Hastings. Looking for Martial Arts partner, used to do Penchak Silat under Charles Joussot in France, it's an Indonesian Martial Art, the system I practised is an adaption of it for street self defence specifically, slightly different approach and surprising techniques. i would like to get back in to it and looking for someone who is interested in learning it or practising Martial Arts in general.

The Wing Chun club is St Leonard Square is pretty good, there is also an Akido club in Bexhill, and I heard of a Karate Kyokushinkai club also in Bexhill. I am looking for a partner to practise Penchak Silat with (Indonesian Martial Art) myself.

Is there any possibility to practise ITF taekwon-do near Hastings? I'm soon moving there and I would like to continue it. I tried to google it and everything but I didn't find any information. :D Or then I'm just blind..
