Thought some of you might be interested in a twenty minute film that Harold Baim made about Hastings in 1983. Just picked it up on DVD (with a few other similar 'British daytrip films') as I used to holiday with my family in Winchelsea and Hastings regularly around this period.

Was hoping, like another poster a couple of years back, that on a long-shot it might feature a little footage of the Laughing Machine + robot in the amusements on George Street(?). This was a key memory for me as a youngster and used to terrify me whenever my older brother wanted a go on it (especially the dalek-like voice and air raid siren noise on the tape loop).
It's a nice little DVD, anyhoo, and worth hiring or buying, I reckon. (I don't work for the company that makes the DVD, BTW!)
