I have lived in Hastings all my life, i went to st pauls for primary, then had to learn to spell all over again when i went to secondry school. I have moved twice in the last 20 years. My eldest daughter went to Elphinstone school for the first 3 years_ _ _it were a rubbish school with a weak team o staff an i couldnt wait to get her out o there.
Robsack wood cp school see her through the rest o her primary years, an i can say with hand on my heart that it were one teacher Mrs bridget lawson the deputy head that made that school worth going too. She is gone now but my eldest daughter still hold her as a mentor.
For my youngest daughter i choose to drive 3 miles everyday to have her taught at Silverdale school. I live nextdoor to Robsackwood school, but after hearing some male teacher bellowing an shouting at the children in his charge_ _ _grrr.. i would rather piggy back my small daughter the 3 miles to silverdale school than subject her to that!! I even phoned Robsackwood school an told them if they dont shut him up, i woud call social services so they could come an have a listen to him too >:( . I were sick o hearing that bully belowing at kids, i could hear him from my garden. I believe he is gone now, but mud sticks.
Silverdale has a swimming pool an from the age o reception class onwards they get swimming lessons every other week. There is an excellent standard o teaching there an my wee duaghter has progressed very well under their care .
I cant fault silverdale, an im damn hard to please as a parent who wants the best for my brats

They are proper teachers, not wannabe social workers, come raiving loonies that cant cope.
I cant recomend Silverdale cp highly enough, and im just a parent same as you guys.
