Questions about William Parker

Postby doug_frazer » Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:14 am

My family and I are looking to relocate to the area in the new year and are really taken with properties in St Leonards and Bexhill. Our problem is that our eldest son who is 11 is a talented sportsman and last year played rugby at district level so we would love to get him into William Parker due to the excellent sporting pedigree at the school.
Does anyone know if these areas are within the catchment area and if not is there a way to get him in through his sporting background. The council admissions policy for schools in the area seems like a lottery and some of the schools seem terrible.

We live in St Leonards and both our sons go to William Parker, Bexhill may be a little too far, but you never know.
Hastings and Bexhill Rugby Club play all their home games at William Parker School.

Thanks for that Peter its good to know we are in the right area. All we need to do now is find out which areas in St Leonards to avoid as looking through some of the posts on this forum some people have had a lot of problems in the area ie drugs, threatening behaviour and vandalisum. Still all areas have good and bad spots.
