A rare log-in to say how much I enjoyed Miller Anderson and the Prisonaires last time they played at The Standard. A very talented bunch, relaxed and having a good time in the way only expert musicians with no egos can.

The erm; 'intimate' venue was packed, but the atmosphere was genial, with the 'rug cutters' given elbow room with good grace! ;) My friends and I commented that a lot of people seemed to be walk-ins, attracted by the music, rather than people who had made plans to go there.

For those of us who like a bit of live music, why not give this venture a try - I will definitely make an effort to get there.
