Well blimey Olly, it's all true - those are the facts! However, we are only human and therefore our personal best is the best we can do.
We're running this (FYI) because the vent originally was scheduled for 4 nights in Decemebr 2013, but the weather was so bad on the 23rd, our last night, that we cancelled the show - it was hazardous for audiences to come out.
People were very disappointed and we felt we should give the Food Bank another boost (we've taken about 175kg of food donations up there so far with the takings made to date), so this is why we're doing February 23rd - as a one-off replacement event.
Have a look at the original publicity on Facebook under "The Year's Midnight: Eerie Stories" etc. You can see a lot of likes and some very positive feedback.
We've had a short letter from one of the charities which helped us put it on in December, and the trustee said a party had gone along and, quote, had "Thoroughly enjoyed it".
But at the end of the day think of the cause - and lend us your good will.
See you there!
