Pirates day - unofficial

Postby Richard » Fri Jul 24, 2015 9:40 pm

As Hastings holds the world record currently it is termed 'unofficial' but it will go ahead anyway:
Sunday July 26 is Pirate Day in Hastings although no record-breaking attempts will be made this year, it is still expected that there will be plenty of ‘swash-bucklers’ around town and the Old Town, on the day, with a variety of events taking place, centred on Winkle Island.

Yep, looks to be a wash-out. You just can't plan anything with UK weather.

Plenty of Pirates (and some agents of The Crown) milling around, despite the weather.

This being Hastings it would be cool to have a Pirate 'smiley' of some sort.
Is that humanly possible Geoff?
8-)
