The hut on the lower prom level below Warrior Square began life a couple of years ago, serving traditional Fish & Chips in a newly built 'hut'.
This has now been re-designed as a 'Fish Bap Bar' whose 'official' opening is tomorrow, Saturday 5th May, with DJ's and Music.
Wine, beer, soft drinks, cakes etcetera will be on sale, plus ice-creams:

Your Fish and Chip hut opened about three years ago. In a prime location for tourists, so heaven knows why it didn't succeed, although it was very expensive. It was closed for much of the time two summers running.

The revamped place looks much more promising, the interior been intelligently redesigned so that you can go in and sit down in poor weather. The outside is great, painted gaily in a variety of colours. All very nice and welcoming and there was quite a crowd.

Except that the menu was rather limited! They need to get that right or the punters won't keep coming.
