Yeah that place is very good, we got our laptop from there, and they were very helpful, explaining all the functions etc. I highly recommend too!

Totally agree. A++ for prices and knowledge. Anyone who uses PC World has obviously got more money than sence. Save a third and speak to people that really know about the products, go to KC.

Would recommend them for parts and bits and pieces to anyone. Great value!!

The guys in the shop really seem to know their stuff too and are very helpful and knowledgable.

Not necessarily always had great results if I've given them my PC to fix or install components in. I went through 3 power packs (3 x GBP10-15 plus a lot of inconvenience) before it was discovered that they had connected the fans up the wrong way round when installing a component!!

A friend of mine had new and unnecessary software installed when his was returned and a disk still in the CD drive too.

I absolutely agree with all sentiments on this thread regarding KC Computers. They are excellent, knowledgeable non patronizing service and low prices too. Steer clear of any of the big retailers and head to KC for your IT needs.

No one wants to see any more massive stores being built and monopolizing the market. Support your local small businesses!!

Yes - definite endorsement deserved. We gave them a budget for a new computer assembly. Quoted and built from scratch in two days. Worked perfectly. I looked through Ebuyer (cheap online firm, nightmare to communicate with) to compare component prices and they were very competitive - more or less the same. And the really great thing is - from quote to preparation, it seemed to be all part of the job - no hassle. Also bought a small component from them - then after leaving the shop, realised I had got the plug/socket round the wrong way. Asked them if I could change - they told me just to go ahead and help myself.
