Big bands

Does anyone remember the big band concerts which were held every ,Sunday evening at the White Rock pavillion in the 1950s

I am trying to remember the bands that played there but can only recall Joe Loss, Ted Heath,and Eric Delaney.There was also a band that used comedy in their performance but I can't remember their name.

I seem to remember that Skin Deep and Cherry pink and Apple blossom white that got the loudest whistles.
