St Leonards Glass

Postby Richard » Sat Aug 08, 2020 1:10 pm

I visited 'St. Leonards Glass Company' Silchester Road, today.
'Marty' went out of his way to assist in all aspects of choosing glass panels for my small, house 'extension'.
What a refreshing change to speak to a friendly and helpful person when ordering building materials.
My best experience so far and it's all about someone with the right attitude.

10/10 to 'St. Leonards' glass! :)

I have dropped St. Leo's glass a couple of points as they supplied one of the six glass panels of the wrong type .
They supplied a differently textured pattern, in hardened glass, to that which I ordered.
To be fair they use multiple suppliers to fill orders but one of them supplied the wrong texture.
Quality control was not great then.
A replacement panel has been promised - but time is money.
'M C Glass' at Bexhill next time?
