It is now thought that Offshore Wind Turbines can kill Gannets in higher than 'acceptable' numbers:
So, putting Turbines near the world's largest breeding colony in Scotland is not a good idea.

You would think that they would watch where they are flying rather than causing damage to innocent turbine blades, a bit like those scary bikers on another post. Some birds have no consideration for other sky users!
