Human Intelligence

Postby Richard » Tue Feb 27, 2018 11:03 pm

Less intelligent people are better at important things: like finding a mate, being parents and making friends. After all, these behaviors have always been a part of our evolutionary makeup.
These people are just running or obeying human instinct, and would order a take-away without hesitation, even for their children, not counting the calories, not worrying about getting fat. They would simply eat, drink and enjoy but they may well be kind and loving in many ways.

There does not seem to be a correlation between intelligent people and kindness
They have an ability to work out the best solution (problem-solving) in whatever situation they encounter. It is not a particular skill or quality which only shines in a limited range of subject matter.
It may be self-seeking and it is not always a particularly attractive commodity but intelligence has its uses when applied to resolve an emergency or threat from any kind of danger.
Intelligent people may have flawed personalities and be poor at relationships with others, lacking in human empathy, they are not necessarily better than people with low intelligence.
Intelligence may be used to evil purpose and is therefore not concerned about the well-being of others .
Criminal minds may be highly intelligent but nobody wants to encourage crime, surely.
It is now generally fairly well known that the Nazi leadership and their scientists were extremely intelligent (as shown by IQ testing during the Nuremberg court trials).
Intelligence is just a quirk of fate and not always one that is admirable.
