I note that Ms Seahermit has still failed to provide any names or details of her claim that

despite that, she manages to go off on another tangent at 8 pm. Whilst dismissing the claim of the 75 mill (80 mill for pedants) as nobody having believed it, you now introduce another one.
Why?

Oh dear you do not like to be contradicted on personal attributes of contributors that are irrelevant to the discussion, in this issue, of allegedly a 'debate' about Corbyn being a suitable Prime Minister. For you it seems facts and counter claims are to be shunned in favour of comments on, "sloppy punctuation and bad grammar".

I have never suggested that such things are not important to a lawyer - when involved in legal submissions. This is not such an instance.

It would seem from a number of the more recent posts in this thread that some of the forum members, whom I have long considered to be male, have suddenly changed sex! This clearly flies in the face of the latest fad towards gender neutrality. Members should therefore take more care over the way in which they address one another. I suggest that we should use the title “M” in all cases, even in mine, where “Derek” clearly denotes the masculine – doesn't it?

Ah, someone's let the cat out of the bag! I wondered when. Was rather enjoying the identity joke, enlivened the dismal weather.

A fevered poster indeed, whose very unpleasant, confrontational style labels contradiction of his own opinions as "spreading falsehoods". This is otherwise a very enjoyable and often informative forum, there should be an end to the aggressive "I am the only one with an opinion that matters" approach.

New speaker in place I know nothing about him but he seems a decent enough chap. Will he bring some calm and courtesy back into the Commons? Also some sanity? But it probably needs the election clear-out to achieve that.
