Tories damage your health

This is yet another example that this government is not fit for purpose.

This is in addition to the endemic problems with Universal Credit they said would be completed by 2017 and now expected to be at least 6 years late and 6 times over budget on IT systems. Labour were set to halt the discredited system. For inexplicable reasons, voters were told by the media and other spreaders of propaganda that these are mere teething problems and the Tories are a safe hands govt. Myth over fact.

This will no doubt become yet another wearying thread dominated by Colin and his one-man left-wing war against all the ills of society as caused by the wicked Tories! The forum seems to have been adopted by Colin as a vehicle for all his frustrations and hang-ups.

"The media and other spreaders of propaganda" - as I said before, Colin has the advantage over us, having personal access to secret sources of truth and fact which the rest of us are denied.

It would be really nice for the forum to return to some normal discussions between calm, respectful and sane people - I don't think it's going to happen just yet!

Do you mean someone who has the temerity to challenge your views that are normally unsupported by anything other than prejudice

Do I have access; I have neither stated nor implied such a thing. That is invented by you to avoid discussing published legal decisions, government reports, academic papers that challenge your view and those of tabloid headlines. You do not even need to search for them as I post the links for you to read at your leisure, although you prefer to avoid facts. (Just who thinks the EU is a left wing socialist organisation? You consistently refuse to tell us)

Again that is your invention. I have never suggested Tories are wicked or whatever other term YOU decide to imply. There is just a different value system that you as a Tory, and they have. It reminds me of the old saying about the CoE - being the Tory Party at prayer

The idea in previous days was that people had to know their place as it was deemed and set in stone. It is strange that the Christian churches today are often seen by some as 'reds under the bed' (perhaps you) and interferring where they are not wanted.

You are under no obligation to read any posts but as I have previously said if you post clearly biased, invented, or distorted propaganda it deserves to be challenged. You do not have the right to make personal opinions and pretend they are fact.

(ps I understand there is a new report out today into Rochdale child sexual abuse. Best not read the tabloids but the actual report or executive summary)

seahermit declines to discuss the discredited UC and benefit system and the facts in a statutory report, but to resort to personal criticism of the person who raises the issue.

To be fair, we have had the forum dominated by several topics with discussions complaining about Labour and so criticism of the Tories is a valid topic.
Additionally there has been some pretty heated stuff from both sides, so I agree. let's try to remain sensible and refrain from knee-jerk reactions.

I have repeatedly asked for people to put up Hastings related posts, and indeed have put up two or three recently. Unfortunately certain regular posters have declined to reply or to introduce new subjects themselves but regularly add new angles to controversial subjects.
