Music downloads

does anyone know of a good site for music downloads, free or commercial?
I have looked at some free ones but they really don't seem very good at all.

For some reason that can't find anything when I use it to search.

I have to say that software for downloading files can be a route for viruses to access the computer.
I generally R-click and scan with antivirus software after downloading.
I remember in the 'dim and distant' I used to run P2P i.e.Napster, Limewire, Frostwire, and others.
Never quite got the hang of 'bit-torrents'
Some programs are full of annoying advertising.
Not sure whether P2P are any better at picking up music files in particular.
