But looking at the W7 product key on my computer (system properties) it now reports it requiring activation whereupon I am told it is not genuine.
However trying the following:

I am then told it is genuine 100%.
My screen is now black but the icons show correctly and I can run windows normally.
Perhaps it is malware, but then it has altered my system properties somehow, and changed the registry?
