Hello. My son and I will be visiting from Arizona, and will be staying in Barham. We are going to take a day trip to Hastings by train, and were wondering if there is a tour bus that goes to Battle from Hastings? Or a public bus? If not, is it terribly expensive to take a taxi?
Thank you kindly!

Re: Bus to Battle?
Hi Linda
There are regular public busses to battle and one of the train lines runs through there so you have a choice. It's really not far at all so a taxi wouldn't be out of the question either, but i'd favour the train. As regards the tour bus, affraid not, as far as I know the open-top tour bus only runs round Hastings and St Leonards.
Hope this helps_ _ _

Bus to Battle?
[quoted]the taxi would cost you around 10 to 15 pounds each way, it is better to take the train form hastings, only a few stops and around 4 or 5 pounds
