Greetings, We ( my wife and I) will be visiting Hastings for about 6 days beginning March 2nd. We will have some down time on Mon, Tues and Wed. during working hours. Any suggestions for day excursions, no more than 2 hrs. train ride from Hastings would be most welcome.
Cheers!

Day excursions from Hastings
Re: Day excursions from Hastings
De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill - beautiful building, interesting exhibitions only 10 mins on the train.
Brighton - tons of interesting shops, cafes, bars etc - the bonkers Royal Pavilion - 1 hr by train.
London of course get off at Charing Cross and your 10 mins from Soho or the South Bank. - train 1 hour and 40 mins - a bit less it you plan it right.
There's probably loads more places to visit but it kand of depends on what you are interested in.
