What happened to Inspire

Postby tcheerfool » Sun May 11, 2014 12:43 pm

I noticed a few days ago that Inspire that used to be in Robertson Street has gone... Does anybody know what happened to it?

Inspire was a graffiti/urban art studio and art shop in Robertson Street: they've made a number of murals across the town but their shop isn't there anymore so I was just wondering what happened to them. Incidentally, the Hastings Trust that was next door to it isn't there either.

Yes !! I know the one you mean now, I think it has turned into a shop selling dodgy looking pipes for hippies. :)
I will ask them where "Inspire" have gone.
The Inspire commission for the mural at the end of St Andrews shopping area struck me as a particularly striking design:

Do you mean that horrible shop opposite called 'Substance' or something? Yes, you can ask them if you want, maybe they will know. The mural they did for the Mews is probably one of their best.
