Where is this webcam?

In daylight it's a street scene, and I reckon it might be a bit of fun to have a competition to see who/if we can actually work out where it is!!

I'm not at all sure - it is though - clearly taken from the 3rd-ish floor of some victorian terraced houses, and the white building on the right at the top is a clue_ _ _ I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's either somewhere around Linton Terrace/Road or somewhere around Gensing Gardens.
One other clue; when I looked earlier today there was a single-deck Stagecoach bus passing in the direction away from the camera - sadly I couldn't see the route number..
What do other people think?

I think I may have figured it out, it's on Priory Road up on the West Hill.
At daytime, you should be able to see the junction with Croft Road and Whitefriars Road.

Don't think so Sussex lad - I know where you are talking about, and I may be wrong, but if that were it, the picture would be being taken from the old Priory Road school, not a row of houses. The white bulding doesn't look like The Whitefriars Pub either.. I'm 99% sure it's Hastings though, cos I saw a taxi with what looked like Hastings markings go past a couple of minutes ago!!

Sussex Lad is right. I was driving up Priory Road the other day and everything from the parked cars, gate and bus stop is identical! There is a row of houses in the right place for a web cam too.

Sincere apologies Sussexlad - you are right, I've just worked it out - the white building in the picture is diagonally opposite the Whitefriars pub, the road we can see is the top of Croft Road, niot Whitefriars, and the redbrick building behind that is the old Priory Road school I think_ _ _ I was trying to work it out from a south-facing viewpoint; it is of course facing north_ _ _
Why on earth I've spent the past HOUR tryuing to puzzle this out I have no idea_ _ _
