is the address correct ??

Hi. I'm from Poland. Two years ago I was in Hastings on a language course and I lived with a nice family. But they moved to a different part of the city. They wrote the address, but I'm not sure whether the address is correct and whether they get my letters . Is it possible that instead of number : '558 A' (before the street), there's ' SS8 A' ??

It's not possible it's SS8A at all. Possibly 558a but that would make a very long street. I know the area quite well, if you let me have the name of the street I can check for you.
