steep!

I really enjoy my visits to Hastings but just wonder how you all cope with the steepness?? Coming from flat-as-a-pancake Norfolk me and OH found it a real struggle and I'm not that old-in my 40's. I get really tired and achey. Do you just get used to it or does everyone ship out to St Leonards when they reach a certain age?

Funnily enough, 25 years ago my university girlfriend used to moan about all the hills in Hastings on the rare occasion that she visited - but then, she used to moan about most things given half a chance, so I never took much notice_ _ _ Basically you get used to it - the area has plenty of compensations that morethan make up for it_ _ _

Essex is flat=hills are nice
